The transplant described below has been conducted on a number of vehicles without causing any damage or having undesirable effects. However I will not hold any responsibility for damage to the car resulting from the instrument panel replacement. Also I do not guarantee that the result of the replacement will fulfill all expectations or that it will work properly and to anyone’s full satisfaction.

I’d like to stress here that the replacement should be done by someone who can operate a soldering iron and has at least a general idea about “cable stuff”. If you feel you can’t do it on your own, ask someone who can, to give you a hand.
Also, the method of alteration presented in this article is only one of many possible ways. The way you choose to do it and how fine you will do it depends much on your own invention and skills. The aim of my instruction is to simply show how to join the elements so it can all work efficiently.
As you have probably noticed by now the two plugs differ fundamentally and moreover the installation lacks some signals. It means you’ll have to make new plugs yourself and add new wires. Also vehicles may differ as far as accessories are concerned so they may lack some wires or have others disconnected.
